Queer Cultural Preservation Society:

Connecting our community.

Nurturing our crafts.

Conserving our stories.

Keeping Queer

Stories Alive

The Queer Cultural Preservation Society is a nonprofit archive celebrating the life and lessons of today’s lgbtq community.

Founded on the rich tradition of oral history in lgbtq culture we’re creating a living archive to help ensure our stories are never forgotten.

What We’re Working On

Preserving Our History

We turn interviews with lgbtq folks into a physical archive of our Queer stories

Hosting Workshops

We partner with local Queer artists to help share their trades with our members

Finding A Permanent Home

We’re looking for a space to house our library and eventually host social events!

How To Get Involved

This is a space where different generations of Queer folk can come together to share their lives: a haven where we can swap stories, exchange lessons, and honor the history that we make just by living every day.

Plus gain access to our library, workshops, and all the other great resources we’re working on.

Join Our Collective

We all have stories worth telling. Speak to one of our QCPS archivists to join our library of Queer lives—and receive a handbound hard copy of your interview, too!

Share Your Story

Volunteer With Us

We could use all sorts of help from workshop hosts and interviewers to audio editing and more. No matter your interests or skillset, we’d love to have you lend a hand!
